CAREER GIST!! CAREER GIST!!!

It’s a true saying that success does not consist in never making mistakes but in not doing the something on a second time. Like the saying, A determined hunter is never frightened in the jungle.


Do you know that most young people do encounter problems and difficulties when it comes to choosing a career.

Basically, the act of making wrong choice(s) of career has left most students confused and unfulfilling. It has given rise to frustration which has led to the rapid increase in crime rate, drug abuse, prostitution and advance free fraud which is popularly referred to as ‘419’ in our society today. It’s about time people get informed about what career is and what it is not.

What then is career? Career is a job or profession for which a person is trained for a life time experience.

Here are some tips and questions to guide you on your how to discover your career.

 What are the things do you like doing?

 What are the things that you can achieve minimum assistance?

 What are the things you find no difficulty in doing?

 What are the thing that make you develop ideas the years to be discussed?

 What are the things that your are willing to make any sacrifice for?

 What are the things when embarked upon and will give sense of satisfaction?

 What is your best area of efficiency?

 What are the things around you which you will like to correct

 What will you like to do assuming everybody was paid the same salary probably N10.00.

In conclusion, your career is interwoven with your disting. Hence don’t allow peer pressure influence you while choosing your career. Niger give in to parental jurisdiction when it come to picking up a career.

This is your life and not your parent.
